Christian Evans

Christian has lived in Aurora for almost 20 years with his wife, Susie and their three children; Charlie, Will and Lauren. He is licensed in Property & Casualty and Crop insurance. Prior to coming to Cornerstone, Christian was employed at Grain Place Foods as President and Chief Operating Officer. He enjoys hunting, golfing, fishing, metal detecting, attending their children’s numerous activities and visiting his family in Wisconsin, where he was born and raised. Christian is involved in Rotary, various community groups, volunteering at his church, and sits on the Board of Directors of OCIA, Intl.

Amy J Chaney, CISR

Amy grew up in Sutton, Nebraska and attended college at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. She has been in the insurance industry since 2000 and joined Cornerstone Insurance Group in September of 2014. Amy is licensed in Property & Casualty insurance and has her CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation. Amy has one daughter; Madison.

Christie grew up in Aurora, Nebraska and attended college at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. She has been in the insurance industry since 2015, when she joined Cornerstone Insurance Group. Christie holds a Property & Casualty and Crop insurance license. Christie and her husband, Jay, have two sons.

Kyle Larson

Kyle grew up in Aurora and graduated from high school from Aurora. He joined the insurance business in November 2024, when he joined Cornerstone Insurance Group. He has earned his Property & Casualty license. He also enjoys watching movies, golfing, spending time with his family, playing in recreational leagues, and watching all things Cornhusker.

Derek DeMers
|
Derek is a native of Hordville, Nebraska, and a graduate of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He began his career at Union Bank & Trust, where he specialized in managing employer-sponsored retirement accounts. In January 2025, he joined Cornerstone Insurance Group, bringing valuable experience in financial services. Derek is licensed in Property & Casualty as well as Crop Insurance.
In 2022, Derek and his wife, Margaret, relocated to Aurora, where they now reside with their son, Karson. Outside of work, Derek enjoys spending time outdoors and pursuing his interests in hunting, fishing, golfing, and smoking meats. |
