Welcome to Cornerstone Insurance Group in Columbus. Columbus started with a dream of a business adventure in 1856 from 13 men that lived in Columbus, Ohio. They chose to locate their town at the confluence of the Loup and Platte rivers in the Nebraska Territory. In 1888 a YMCA was established, while in the 1900s the first golf course was laid out in Gottschalk's pasture. A municipal swimming pool, located in Pawnee Park, was opened in 1930. A second pool (indoors and heated), doubles as fire protection for a local manufacturing plant. In the early 1940s the Platte County Ag Park was formed, featuring pari-mutuel horse racing. The 1980s playground of Columbus includes 11 parks, 16 tennis courts, municipal and country club golf courses, three pools, and two bowling alleys. This town never stops growing and is currently home to nearly 20,000 residents.

Eric grew up in Monroe, Nebraska. He began his insurance career in 2013 and joined Cornerstone Insurance Group in May of 2018. He has obtained his Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses.  He has been officiating high school football and basketball for 20 years and umpiring high school and American Legion baseball for 15 years. Eric enjoys watching his kids participate in activities and sports, Oklahoma football & Yankees baseball.  Eric and his wife, Ashley, reside in Columbus.  They have three children Jackson, Izabella and Declan.

Katie grew up in Columbus, Nebraska and attended college at Southeast Community College in Lincoln. Katie began her insurance career in 2015, before joining Cornerstone Insurance Group in April of 2021. She currently holds her Property & Casualty as well as her Life & Health insurance license.  She enjoys spending her free time with her active family. ​

Megan grew up in Columbus, NE and earned her degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She joined Cornerstone Insurance Group in February of 2025 and currently holds her   Property & Casualty insurance license. Megan is also a licensed esthetician with a passion for beauty and wellness. In her free time, she enjoys painting, creative writing, and reading.​
