Welcome to Cornerstone Insurance Group in Malmo. Malmo is a village in Saunders County, Nebraska. Malmo was platted in 1887 when the railroad reached the area, and became incorporated as a village in 1893. Many early settlers were natives of Sweden, so the name Malmo was selected, after the Swedish city of Malmo. Our Malmo office joined Cornerstone Insurance Group in November of 2019, when Cornerstone Bank purchased Security Home Bank.

​Gary grew up on a farm near Malmo, Nebraska and graduated from Lincoln School of Commerce with a degree in accounting and business. He then began his insurance career in 1993 and joined Cornerstone Insurance Group in December of 2019. Gary has obtained licenses in Property & Casualty, Life & Health and Crop Insurance. He enjoys all Nebraska sports, especially the Huskers. Gary and his wife, Annette, reside in Wahoo and have twin children, who are both married.
