The city was founded in 1869 by the South Platte Land Company and is the county seat for York County. Also known as an educational center York has been home to York College since 1890. It also has 3 large public schools, as well as 3 parochial grade schools, and an alternative school. Amber grew up near Gresham, Nebraska and attended college at Southeast Community College in Beatrice. She started her career with insurance in September of 2020 by obtaining her Property & Casualty License and later joined Cornerstone Insurance Group in September of 2021. Amber and her fiancé, Cody, have a son named Corbin. She enjoys spending time with family, lake days and being outdoors.
